Baltimore Running Festival - Saturday, October 18, 2025
Lace up your running shoes for one of Maryland's premier athletic events. The Baltimore Running Festival features a marathon, half-marathon, and 5K through Charm City's historic streets. Many veterans and active-duty service members participate each year, making this a great opportunity to support the veteran community while promoting health and wellness.
Silver Spring Fall-O-Ween - Sunday, October 26, 2025
Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring transforms into a Halloween wonderland for this family-friendly festival. Bring the kids (and pets!) for a costume parade, craft and treats fair, and entertainment that celebrates the season. Haunted History Halloween Night - Friday, October 31, 2025
Close out the month with an evening of historical exploration at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD.
